Larne Runners Start Road Racing Season |

The road racing season officially started last weekend at the Albertville 5 miler but with the Larne AC prize giving the night before only 3 hardy souls made the line up. Bernard Brady, Paul Tilson and Danny Magill ran well despite looking a little pale from the previous night's celebrations.
So it was yesterday Sunday 14th at Jimmy's 10k before most could get a chance to test their winter training and Larne AC turned out 13 runners.
Click on the results tab to view everyone's times but the run of the day must go to John Agnew dominating the M50 category in an impressive 37.35 and special mention to Greg Lavery smashing his previous PB running 36.40
Next weekend we host our very own Larne Half Marathon and despite many working at the event on the day the entry list shows an impressive 37 Larne AC athlete's! |
